"The Jeff Whipple Art Museum is a good idea."
Lennie Bennett, Art Critic, The St. Petersburg Times

The Jeff Whipple Art Museum showcases thirty years of the Tampa-based artist's realistic paintings and drawings, which are often perplexing and sometimes hilarious. Nearly two hundred artworks chronicle Whipple’s creative output from his student years in the late 70s to the present. The exhibit is designed to be educational and provide the general public with a unique opportunity to see the step-by-step development of a contemporary artist’s career.

The museum is an ongoing cultural attraction within Centro YBOR, a retail, restaurant and entertainment center located in Ybor City, Tampa’s historic Latin Quarter.

"Inside the 5,000-square-foot space, labyrinthine walls bear row upon row of Whipple's paintings and drawings, spanning more than 40 years and telling the story of a prodigious talent for representational and symbolic art that emerged during his youth."
Megan Voeller, Art Reviewer, Creative Loafing
